When Evelio Ofelio came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Jugad☺r N° 12 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Ofelio couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the match, Echeverría AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Ofelio came free, but Cosme Suero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leo Ceandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Rocio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Cosme Suero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Echeverría AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Romano. After having played for 20 minutes, Omar Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jugad☺r N° 12's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cosme Suero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Ceandro in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Echeverría AFC booed when Jugad☺r N° 12 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Mazuste didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ignacio Cortez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Echeverría AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Cortez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Duardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Evelio Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Suero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Ofelio in the 35th minute of the match. Apolo Maore received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cosme Suero came out and tried to block the shot, but Apolo Maore slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 37th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evelio Ofelio in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Suero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Echeverría AFC's Cosme Suero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Echeverría AFC from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evelio Ofelio to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Echeverría AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Farias. Teobaldo Sandaili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cosme Suero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Echeverría AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Eulalio Jobo hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Jugad☺r N° 12 were awarded a corner. Omar Lopez went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Jugad☺r N° 12's Omar Lopez to fire away a dangerous shot which Cosme Suero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Ignacio Cortez came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Echeverría AFC fans jumped to their feet. After 96 minutes, Teobaldo Sandaili mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jugad☺r N° 12 and the Echeverría AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
