In the 17th minute, Samuel Lauro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Fertus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 24th minute, Severo Malvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was Samuel Lauro who took care of the corner kick. Tomatito FC's Blas Bernabel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulo Fertus in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 28th minute, Hilario Ramond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Luisito Quilino fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Antonio F.C.'s protests and gave Luisito Quilino a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, San Antonio F.C.'s Luisito Quilino got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The audience was convinced that Samuel Lauro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Fertus was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. San Antonio F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half Tomatito FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Paulo Fertus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Tristan in the 52nd minute. Bernardo Tristan scored 0-3 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Fertus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Tristan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Fertus made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Bernardo Tristan sent off a good shot on target. Bernardo Tristan got in the 66th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Paulo Fertus handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Paulo Fertus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Tristan in the 69th minute. Bernardo Tristan didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-4 via right post in the game's 71st minute. Tomatito FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! With his leg Paulo Fertus managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Tomatito FC's Bernardo Tristan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Paulo Fertus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Lauro in the 81st minute. Paulo Fertus made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Bernardo Tristan sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Tristan in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Fertus saved San Antonio F.C. from getting behind.
