Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Maximiliano Juvenal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Iratze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laureano Rumaldo scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernan Ursino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Jairo Froila put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Maximiliano Juvenal. Clodoveo Iratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Juvenal having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Matará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Bladi to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano Juvenal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Iratze in the 28th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Anastasio Normando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matará and the Garcia Neivirt players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Matará getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Anastasio Normando hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Garcia Neivirt's Octavio Illan got a free kick in the 35th minute. Celedonio Colon made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Isidro Hechter immediately put the ball in play. If Laureano Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clodoveo Iratze to strike the kick off in the second half. If Laureano Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A wasted opportunity for Matará. 65 minutes into the match, Matará's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Iratze came free, but Maximiliano Juvenal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Matará's goalkeeper Maximiliano Juvenal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Hechter. If Gregorio Ospetsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Arsenio Montel notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Garcia Neivirt's Hernan Ursino. Hernan Ursino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maximiliano Juvenal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jairo Froila in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Garcia Neivirt's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Ospetsu came free, but Hernan Ursino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Rumaldo in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Ursino saved Garcia Neivirt from getting behind. Jairo Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Maximiliano Juvenal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Laureano Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Pietro in the 91st minute of play forced Matará's goalkeeper Maximiliano Juvenal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Matará's zone, Jairo Froila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Juvenal came out of the goal and Jairo Froila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Garcia Neivirt's Jairo Froila got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jairo Froila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matará were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Garcia Neivirt for a fine match.
