Cosme Fernanco came out of the goal and Stratos Sikalopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon Iban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Cosme Fernanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Cosme Fernanco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Teodoro Ricart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Ioritz in the 21st minute of the match. When Ramiro Gartzi fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Educacion Pinocho's protests and gave Ramiro Gartzi a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Educacion Pinocho:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Avestruz FC:s goal. Leopoldo Illan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Cosme Fernanco made a huge save. Stratos Sikalopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Fernanco having to interfere. If Silvano Ioritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Educacion Pinocho's Cosme Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Frechoso in the 36th minute of play. If Silverio Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Honorio Bero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Ricart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Avestruz FC booed when Educacion Pinocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Bero didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Illan in the 72nd minute of play forced Educacion Pinocho's goalkeeper Cosme Fernanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Illan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosme Fernanco. Educacion Pinocho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Illan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 86th minute Avestruz FC were awarded a corner. Danilo Frechoso went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Danilo Frechoso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cosme Fernanco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 88th minute, Danilo Frechoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosme Fernanco was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Leopoldo Illan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Fernanco having to interfere. Stratos Sikalopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute.
