All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apolo Pancho to make the kick off. The tension between the Museo del Ascenso and the Escape Libre players grew even worse after the yellow card. 60 minutes into the match, Escape Libre's goalkeeper Reynaldo Rivero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Igon. After some careless play in the Museo del Ascenso defense, Carmelo Herrera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lisandro Fidensio. The Museo del Ascenso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lisandro Fidensio should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Museo del Ascenso booed when Escape Libre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Pancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisandro Fidensio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmelo Herrera went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apolo Pancho in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro Fidensio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute Apolo Pancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Fidensio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apolo Pancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lisandro Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Escape Libre players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
