In the 18th match minute, TEU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Otsoko to maneuver through the defense. Leon Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabry Nagy having to interfere. Sabry Nagy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Jago, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Fortin FC's Lucio Inko got control of the ball when Severiano Rumaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Manuel Dallochio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Fortin FC's Lucio Inko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Rumaldo in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Dalmai got free with Lucio Inko in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. TEU's Sabry Nagy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Bernal in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th minute, Guido Dalmai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Severiano Rumaldo made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of TEU booed when Fortin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Dalmu didn't get a good kick on the ball. TEU's Lucjan Moizuk suffered a sore thigh after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 52 minutes, Orlando Matthew mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fortin FC and the TEU players grew even worse after the yellow card. TEU's Timoteo Leoncio was substituted for Lucjan Moizuk. After a rather tough play, Fortin FC's Jeremias Chaime got a free kick in the 55th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Fortin FC's Mariano Jago slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sabry Nagy. That made the score 0-1 after 57 minutes of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fortin FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
