The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Primitivo Arias charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Arias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Primitivo Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alim Ünsaç in the 3rd minute of play forced Excursio Del B.Belgrano's goalkeeper Igor Argoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute Abastense.fc were awarded a corner. Alim Ünsaç went to the cornerflag to take it. Rafael Rosio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Igor Argoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Gonzalo Bertran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abastense.fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Bertran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvaro Inocente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Diego Mincho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Excursio Del B.Belgrano getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Primitivo Arias hit a great ball. In the 24th match minute, Excursio Del B.Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Mero to maneuver through the defense. If Alim Ünsaç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Abastense.fc's Diego Mincho got control of the ball when Salvador Laurentzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Mincho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Inocente in the 37th minute. Alvaro Inocente hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Igor Argoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Bertran in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonzalo Bertran to make the kick off. Gonzalo Bertran hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Agustin Rocio made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Abastense.fc's Rafael Rosio. In the 63rd minute, Rafael Rosio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abastense.fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Gonzalo Bertran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Igor Argoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Argoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Bertran, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Alvaro Inocente kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Gogo Taurino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Argoitz having to interfere. Excursio Del B.Belgrano's Igor Argoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Rosio in the 82nd minute of play. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Fausto Frascuelo with Agustin Rocio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Abastense.fc's Alim Ünsaç got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Argoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Gabirel in the 97th minute of the match. Abastense.fc played a much better game than Excursio Del B.Belgrano and deserved their victory. The Excursio Del B.Belgrano players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
