The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonides Quintin got free with Pedro Primo in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Segundo Urki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Primo came out and tried to block the shot, but Segundo Urki slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Baldomiro Atauri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Lauro in the 10th minute of play. Baldomiro Atauri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Pedro Primo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Rojelio in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Rojelio in the 16th minute of play forced Zapala's goalkeeper Pedro Primo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Primo came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Nueva Chicago's Segundo Urki. But to his dismay, Segundo Urki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Ladio came free, but Baldomiro Atauri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nueva Chicago's Baldomiro Atauri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Elixio in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match, Segundo Urki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Primo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Segundo Urki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Primo came out and tried to block the shot, but Segundo Urki slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 37th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Urki in the 51st minute of play forced Zapala's goalkeeper Pedro Primo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Leonides Quintin hit a great ball. Pedro Primo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Rojelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With a little luck, Nueva Chicago's Baldomiro Atauri got control of the ball when Francisco Ladio tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Urki in the 65th minute of play forced Zapala's goalkeeper Pedro Primo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Mikelats scored 5-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Primo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Primo came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Nueva Chicago's Segundo Urki. But to his dismay, Segundo Urki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After having played for 83 minutes, Venancio Rojelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nueva Chicago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venancio Rojelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Primo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Urki in the 87th minute of play. Baldomiro Atauri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Ladio in the 89th minute of the match. Zapala's Pedro Primo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Rojelio in the 91st minute of play. Segundo Urki took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Primo. Pedro Primo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nueva Chicago fully deserved thier win.
