Nereo Gelmiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Neron went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. La Via -No Problem-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicanor Blai in the 52nd minute. If Filiberto Hanot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Coquis F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicanor Blai ran over to the corner to take the kick. La Via -No Problem-'s Filiberto Hanot got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
