Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hilario Cordaro got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute, Hilario Cordaro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 7 minutes of play, Potrero FC's Clodoveo Incendio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimundo Oxarra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clodoveo Incendio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Raimundo Oxarra made a huge save. Potrero FC's Paulo Herena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Ibañez in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Cesar Telesforo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zárate FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 24th minute, Clodoveo Incendio made a precise shot to the right of Raimundo Oxarra. Zárate FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Clodoveo Incendio took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raimundo Oxarra. Clodoveo Incendio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Oxarra having to interfere. Paolo Breogan's late challenge caught a Potrero FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paolo Breogan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Potrero FC booed when Zárate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Breogan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Oxarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Cordaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Cordaro in the 42nd minute of play forced Zárate FC's goalkeeper Raimundo Oxarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodoveo Incendio scored 5-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raimundo Oxarra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusebio Ibañez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Potrero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Cordaro to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 62 minutes, Hilario Cordaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Cordaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 63rd minute of the match Paolo Breogan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Paolo Breogan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 64th minute, Paolo Breogan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Incendio in the 65th minute of play forced Zárate FC's goalkeeper Raimundo Oxarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Cordaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Raimundo Oxarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clodoveo Incendio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raimundo Oxarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Cordaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Hilario Cordaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zárate FC's Cesar Telesforo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hilario Cordaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Oxarra having to interfere.
