Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) La Akdmia's Rafael Berasko started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. La Akdmia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Laureano Goizeder 4 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Marcelino Quinton hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Feliciano Erauso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albino Maxin having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Llorian in the 10th minute of play forced Chimborazo FC's goalkeeper Albino Maxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albino Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Llorian in the 17th minute of play. Jonatan Hibai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardino Elixio went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Alejandro Iaki scored 2-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albino Maxin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafael Berasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Maxin having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Rafael Berasko managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Akdmia's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Berasko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Maxin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albino Maxin came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by La Akdmia's Simon Llorian. But to his dismay, Simon Llorian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nemesio Clemencin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Rafael Berasko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Maxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chimborazo FC's zone, Feliciano Erauso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Maxin came out of the goal and Feliciano Erauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 57 minutes, Simon Llorian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Akdmia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Llorian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 62 played minutes, Chimborazo FC's Raul Vermudo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonatan Hibai came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chimborazo FC reached it. Albino Maxin was a little too slow when Simon Llorian got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 2-5. With a little luck, Chimborazo FC's Albino Maxin got control of the ball when Baltasar Santio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Feliciano Erauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Akdmia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Erauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feliciano Erauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nemesio Clemencin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jonatan Hibai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Feliciano Erauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Akdmia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Erauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laureano Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Simon Llorian took a quick shot and it went in 2-6 without a chance for Albino Maxin to make any attempt to save it. The Chimborazo FC fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Chimborazo FC's Nemesio Clemencin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Chimborazo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La Akdmia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
