Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Serafino Aureo started the match with the kick off. When Miguel Orkatz came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Saavedra AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Orkatz couldn't finish the play. Diego Caitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Aureo in the 7th minute of play. Miguel Orkatz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Marco Tiniebra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marco Tiniebra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Fliz's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Orkatz got free with Marco Tiniebra in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Serafino Aureo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winifreda's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Aureo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Caitano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Saavedra AFC's Freddy Fliz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Tiniebra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Miguel Orkatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Orkatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Tiniebra having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Marco Tiniebra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Fliz in the 36th minute of play forced Winifreda's goalkeeper Marco Tiniebra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Miguel Orkatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Benitez hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Miguel Orkatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Marco Tiniebra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddy Fliz made a kick off. Carlos Marino kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Serafino Aureo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diego Caitano having to make a save. When Bernardino Ursino fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saavedra AFC's protests and gave Bernardino Ursino a yellow card for diving instead. Bernardino Ursino hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Diego Caitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Aureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 minutes, Gogo Chumo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Winifreda and the Saavedra AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Winifreda:s Marco Tiniebra showed great skill when he stopped Adolfo Jobo:s penalty. In the 68th minute Tadeo Reynardo managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. 69 minutes into the match, Saavedra AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Serafino Aureo came free, but Diego Caitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Saavedra AFC's Diego Caitano got control of the ball when Eriberto Raymundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute, Winifreda's Eriberto Raymundo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Eriberto Raymundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Diego Caitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saavedra AFC's Diego Caitano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Saavedra AFC from getting a goal against them. Eriberto Raymundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Caitano having to interfere. Marco Tiniebra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Orkatz in the 91st minute of play. Diego Caitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Aureo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. If Eriberto Raymundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Saavedra AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Winifreda's performance. The match ended with a win for Winifreda.
