Eduardo Liher kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When Gonzalo Asier, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 11 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Feliberto Cordarryl was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Liher in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Cruz saved Godoy Cruz from getting behind. Marciano Cresconio hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Marciano Cresconio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25thth minute of the game Domingo Ciceron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Llavallol's Feliberto Cordarryl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Llavallol's goalkeeper Feliberto Cordarryl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, FC Llavallol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Satordi to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Oscar Criston's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Cruz was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danilo Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

56 minutes into the match, FC Llavallol's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Asier came free, but Feliberto Cordarryl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Eduardo Liher reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Danilo Cruz. The goal made the score 0-1. Domingo Ciceron struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Feliberto Cordarryl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Godoy Cruz. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Domingo Ciceron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Godoy Cruz's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Ciceron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Cordarryl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Godoy Cruz's Augusto Shepherd got a free kick in the 67th minute. Gonzalo Asier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Feliberto Cordarryl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ignacio Ondino hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Gonzalo Asier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Israel Euloxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Cordarryl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Domingo Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes FC Llavallol got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Liher. If Marciano Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Ciceron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Feliberto Cordarryl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Godoy Cruz booed when FC Llavallol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Fraco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Domingo Ciceron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Godoy Cruz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Ciceron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gonzalo Asier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Although Godoy Cruz had been in control for most of the match, FC Llavallol still came away with the win.
