Gavino Abadia made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Blas Salvadore sent off a good shot on target. Gavino Abadia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damaso Endura in the 15th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Blas Salvadore kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gavino Abadia. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. The supporters of boquita booed when Colmena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Tercero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio Magdaleno lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Colmena a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tiburcio Mendiko, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of boquita's Edgard Gizon. 2-1. If Domingo Goyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Colmena's Gavino Abadia got control of the ball when Damaso Endura tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingo Goyo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Damaso Endura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. boquita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Endura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Damaso Endura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgard Gizon made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Candido Tercero sent off a good shot on target. Gavino Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Goyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Domingo Goyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Domingo Goyo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavino Abadia was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Damaso Endura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gavino Abadia having to make a save. After some careless play in the Colmena defense, Domingo Goyo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavino Abadia. The Colmena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavino Abadia should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute Domingo Goyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. boquita walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
