When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Fulgencio Gaitan sped through Apotemia F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albino Odol. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Albino Odol successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 34th minute of the match Apotemia F.C. got a corner. Banda Norte's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ciriaco Gonzales ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ciriaco Gonzales got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erdeniz Bayraktar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquilino Lopez got free with Albino Odol in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erdeniz Bayraktar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Quintin, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Erdeniz Bayraktar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romulo Quintin's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Apotemia F.C.'s Albino Odol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Gaitan in the 66th minute of play. If Aquilino Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Pes during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 minutes, Gregorio Bizi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banda Norte and the Apotemia F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card.
