Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5003, Seating: 1643, VIP seats: 10) Kun F.C.'s Saverio Millrick started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Giovanni booed when Kun F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Venerando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Reyes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Danilo Iaki. Kun F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Giovanni's Amancio Iraido sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Iaki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Danilo Iaki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Eufemio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Teo Timo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kun F.C.'s Teo Timo in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Giovanni's goalie prevented a goal. Florentino Paul charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florentino Paul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Giovanni getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Florentino Paul hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Saverio Millrick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute Celso Hug suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Baldomero Lastur's late challenge caught a Kun F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomero Lastur helped the player get up and apologised. Kun F.C. made a substitution. Silvestre Erramu replaced Celso Hug. After a rather tough play, Giovanni's Baldomero Lastur got a free kick in the 21st minute. Giovanni's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Saverio Millrick 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, Norberto Eduino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Giovanni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kun F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Giovanni getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Norberto Eduino hit a great ball. Kun F.C.'s Justino Restu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 27th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Giovanni. Saverio Millrick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saverio Millrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ernesto Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino Paul was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Florentino Paul hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Saverio Millrick received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Xabel came out and tried to block the shot, but Saverio Millrick slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Giovanni's goalkeeper Ernesto Xabel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teo Timo. Saverio Millrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Xabel having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Teo Timo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kun F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Timo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Teofilo Montel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Giovanni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kun F.C. the free kick. Ernesto Xabel made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Teo Timo sent off a good shot on target. Baldomero Lastur was shown his second yellow card after 48 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 49 played minutes Giovanni got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Lastur. In the 50th minute Saverio Millrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Xabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amancio Iraido was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Giovanni's goalkeeper Ernesto Xabel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Giovanni's Ernesto Xabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Timo in the 56th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Amancio Iraido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo Timo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Xabel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Giovanni's Ernesto Xabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Timo in the 68th minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, Kun F.C.'s Modesto Solustiano made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ernesto Xabel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teo Timo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ernesto Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teo Timo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Timo in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Xabel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kun F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
