Tapso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pericles Morales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute Albano Presebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Lucila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Fagildo scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filiberto Osoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filiberto Osoro made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Gaudencio Fagildo sent off a good shot on target. Gaudencio Fagildo in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filiberto Osoro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Artemio Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Luis Xacintu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Adolfo Lucila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adrian Vito charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Vito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to tala getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Adrian Vito hit a great ball. Evaristo Steven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Osoro having to interfere. Adolfo Lucila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Presebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Steven in the 54th minute of play forced tala's goalkeeper Filiberto Osoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Steven took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filiberto Osoro. Filiberto Osoro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 62nd minute of the match Tapso got a corner. tala's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jacinto Stanislao ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jacinto Stanislao almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but tala's Filiberto Osoro did a great save. Filiberto Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Steven in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74thth minute of the game Evaristo Steven who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but tala's Filiberto Osoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Filiberto Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Fagildo in the 78th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Evaristo Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Osoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute Tapso were awarded a corner. Jacinto Stanislao went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of tala's goalie and right to Gaudencio Fagildo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. tala's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Evaristo Steven might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filiberto Osoro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaristo Steven ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to tala getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Luis Xacintu hit a great ball. Filiberto Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Fagildo in the 88th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Tapso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Stanislao to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tapso had played much better football throughout.
