The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 13th minute, Martin Cristofor made a precise shot to the right of Leon Castel. boca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Mateo in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Witomir Mazurkiewicz saved Reyes de la suela from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, boca's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Rayman came free, but Leon Castel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Chinto hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes, Tomás Mateo made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Reyes de la suela's Witomir Mazurkiewicz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Leon Castel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Leoncio in the 35th minute of play. After 36 played minutes boca got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Artizar. After having played for 43 minutes, Ismael Chinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. boca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Chinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Epifanio Jobo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leon Castel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Jobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Leoncio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Leon Castel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th minute, Epifanio Jobo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Reyes de la suela booed when boca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Matxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesar Eguzki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Castel having to interfere. Reyes de la suela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Chinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. After a rather tough play, boca's Eustaquio Lizer got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Reyes de la suela players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
