Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Viriato Moura took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ola Lund went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfons Sjö breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viriato Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Alfons Sjö tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ola Lund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Wilson Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Garsås IF's Ola Lund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Ola Lund sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Göran Lindholm in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. Alfons Sjö stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Barreto's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 28th play minutes Felipe Barreto shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Alfons Sjö and just under the crossbar into goal. Garsås IF's Bror Ståhlman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rodolfo Miranda in the 34 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Felipe Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfons Sjö was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ola Lund sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the game, Portugal's Felipe Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfons Sjö made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Ove Stål stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pimentel came free, but Alfons Sjö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Lund in the 62nd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bror Ståhlman, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Garsås IF made a substitution. Edgard Monteiro replaced Önder Sezer. Garsås IF made a substitution. Morgan Norberg replaced Enrico Cesaroni. In the 72nd minute Sven-Ove Stål shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Graciano Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 77 minutes, Sven-Ove Stål managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garsås IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Ove Stål was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Charlie Löfgren, made in the 82nd minute of the game. The supporters of Portugal booed when Garsås IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th match minute, Garsås IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Ove Stål's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Bartolomeu Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Alfons Sjö made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Ove Stål in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
