The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Severiano Illart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Niupi's goalkeeper Jeronimo Domenec, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Fermin Matei sped through Niupi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeronimo Domenec. Fermin Matei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Domenec having to interfere. When Silverio Bartolome fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niupi's protests and gave Silverio Bartolome a yellow card for diving instead. Silverio Bartolome hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Rodolfo Jurgi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeronimo Domenec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Fermin Matei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tambillos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Manuel Mannie hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Tambillos's Cesar Olayo got control of the ball when Gaston Ferman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Severiano Illart took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeronimo Domenec. Jeronimo Domenec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. If Rodolfo Jurgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Fermin Matei sped through Niupi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeronimo Domenec. Fermin Matei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fermin Matei took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeronimo Domenec. Jeronimo Domenec dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. After the first half Tambillos were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a rather tough play, Tambillos's Manuel Mannie got a free kick in the 58th minute. Niupi's Silverio Bartolome got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Silverio Bartolome off the ground. In the 63rd minute, Silverio Bartolome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fermin Matei received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jeronimo Domenec came out and tried to block the shot, but Fermin Matei slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Rodolfo Jurgi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niupi's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Severiano Illart 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. A hard shot 80 in the game by Fermin Matei from a close distance when the talented Jeronimo Domenec managed to make a qualified save. Niupi's players were relieved. Jeronimo Domenec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Illart in the 83rd minute of the match. Fermin Matei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute Gaston Ferman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Olayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rodolfo Jurgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Sasoin charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Sasoin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felix Sasoin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Fermin Matei put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Jeronimo Domenec. When the match was over Tambillos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Niupi throughout the match.
