Quid pro quo's Generoso Jerardo got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Gerazan. Claudio Ramoser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Cipriano Iztal made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Generoso Jerardo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cipriano Iztal, 3-0. Saverio Ireno was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Cipriano Iztal, was totally fooled by Quid pro quo's Lars Rast, who 40 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With his leg Cipriano Iztal managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Quid pro quo's Claudio Ramoser fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 44 minutes, Ignacio Boni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Juniors and the Quid pro quo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ignacio Boni kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Cipriano Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Cipriano Iztal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Ramoser in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Claudio Ramoser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudio Ramoser struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Cipriano Iztal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quid pro quo. In the 57th minute Generoso Jerardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Generoso Jerardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Iztal came out of the goal and Generoso Jerardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Ramoser came free, but Cipriano Iztal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Tano kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Cipriano Iztal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Ramoser's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Generoso Jerardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Iztal having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Francisco Petrigai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Petrigai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rafael Batista fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quid pro quo's protests and gave Rafael Batista a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Quid pro quo getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Rafael Batista hit a great ball. Claudio Ramoser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Cipriano Iztal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Benicio Gerazan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Juniors and the Quid pro quo players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Generoso Jerardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Ramoser in the 91st minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Cipriano Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Boca Juniors defense, Claudio Ramoser kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cipriano Iztal. The Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cipriano Iztal should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Quid pro quo fully deserved thier win.
