With a little luck, Thiago FC's Adriana Vedillo got control of the ball when Elias Rafe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cleto Gudesteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Catarino Guarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Thiago FC's Adriana Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Daunte in the 17th minute of play. With his leg Adriana Vedillo managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Cowboys From Hell FC's Elias Rafe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cowboys From Hell FC:s Cleto Gudesteo showed great skill when he stopped Humberto Hernandez:s penalty. 22 minutes into the match, Humberto Hernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cleto Gudesteo. Cowboys From Hell FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Hernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Elias Rafe came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Cowboys From Hell FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Rafe couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Luciano Eguntsenti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thiago FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cowboys From Hell FC the free kick. After 28 played minutes Thiago FC got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Eguntsenti. The crowd rose to their feet as Cowboys From Hell FC's Eduardo Uhin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adriana Vedillo. That made the score 1-1 after 36 minutes of play. With his leg Adriana Vedillo managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Cowboys From Hell FC's Elias Rafe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The long shot by Elias Rafe in the 42nd minute really tested Adriana Vedillo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 43rd minute Aurelio Heriberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Gudesteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago FC's Adriana Vedillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Thiago FC from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Rafe to strike the kick off in the second half. Adriana Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Rafe in the 53rd minute of play. If Elias Rafe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Thiago FC's zone, Elias Rafe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriana Vedillo came out of the goal and Elias Rafe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Cowboys From Hell FC defense, Catarino Guarda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cleto Gudesteo. The Cowboys From Hell FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cleto Gudesteo should have stopped the shot. After 74 played minutes Thiago FC got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Eguntsenti. In the 76th minute, Luciano Eguntsenti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cowboys From Hell FC's Melquiades Feliu got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thiago FC made a substitution. Makareus Adamidis replaced Vicente Guilabertus. Tiburcio Louis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cleto Gudesteo having to make a save. The supporters of Cowboys From Hell FC booed when Thiago FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Cordeal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Rafe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriana Vedillo having to interfere. If Elias Rafe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thiago FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Cowboys From Hell FC's much stronger midfield.
