Elias Rafe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Corderro having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, C.A. PILARES's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Francho came free, but Fabio Corderro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A. PILARES's Fabio Corderro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. PILARES from getting a goal against them. Artemio Rocio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Gudesteo having to interfere. David Daunte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Corderro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Rafe in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. PILARES's zone, David Daunte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Corderro came out of the goal and David Daunte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabio Corderro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Rafe in the 25th minute. Elias Rafe scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Corderro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elias Rafe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Sergio Francho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, David Daunte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes in the game, David Daunte fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fabio Corderro having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, C.A. PILARES's goalkeeper Fabio Corderro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Rafe. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Dante Oliviero made the kick off in the second half. Fabio Corderro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Daunte's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Fabio Corderro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Daunte in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Elias Rafe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Corderro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Oliviero charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dante Oliviero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes C.A. PILARES got a freekick which was hit by Dante Oliviero. If Roman Inocente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, David Daunte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cowboys From Hell FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Daunte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Daunte in the 75th minute of play forced C.A. PILARES's goalkeeper Fabio Corderro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cleto Gudesteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Oliviero in the 76th minute of play. If David Daunte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Rafe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, C.A. PILARES's Dante Oliviero got a free kick in the 83rd minute. David Daunte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Corderro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Fabio Corderro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Rafe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Daunte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Corderro having to interfere. If Elias Rafe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
