Spectators: 6974 (Terracing: 5338, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bernardino Rencio made the kick off which started today's match. Godofredo Santo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmiro Derwin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Henrik Fransson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. El gran Tatunga's Delmiro Derwin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Rencio in the 20th minute of play. When Bernardino Rencio fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelaria AFC's protests and gave Bernardino Rencio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, Candelaria AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Rencio to maneuver through the defense. After 26 minutes of play, El gran Tatunga's Godofredo Santo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Nevada was left in no man's land by his defense there! With 31 minutes on the clock, Antonio Selmo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 31 played minutes El gran Tatunga got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Selmo. 34 minutes into the match, El gran Tatunga's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Rencio came free, but Delmiro Derwin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Nevada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Prejun, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Prejun to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Avellaneda in the 52nd minute of play forced El gran Tatunga's goalkeeper Delmiro Derwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardino Rencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Delmiro Derwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Dimas charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Dimas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to El gran Tatunga getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Edgardo Dimas hit a great ball. Delmiro Derwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Rencio in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardino Rencio in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmiro Derwin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the game, Bernardino Rencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Delmiro Derwin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 83 minutes in the game, Juan Prejun fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Elias Nevada having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Aquiles Gomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes Candelaria AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Rencio. When Juan Prejun came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the El gran Tatunga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Prejun couldn't finish the play. Candelaria AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of El gran Tatunga for a fine match.
