The supporters of Pikante FC booed when U.O.M was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Roland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Gartxot charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Gartxot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abel Tiadoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Oalo having to interfere. When Lucas Gartxot was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 11 minutes had been played. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Tiadoro in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorino Oalo saved U.O.M from getting behind. Victorino Oalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Tiadoro in the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to U.O.M getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gonzalo Arixo hit a great ball. Abel Tiadoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 23 played minutes U.O.M got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Rufio. Abel Tiadoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Oalo having to interfere. Nunez Calvet's late challenge caught a Pikante FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nunez Calvet helped the player get up and apologised. If Omar Beila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Ixona hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd match minute, U.O.M was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Raebert to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Beila in the 33rd minute of play forced U.O.M's goalkeeper Victorino Oalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Tiadoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Victorino Oalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Tiadoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorino Oalo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Camilo Ixona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Victorino Oalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nunez Calvet got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 45th minute Abel Tiadoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Oalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

U.O.M's Victorino Oalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Beila in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Pikante FC booed when U.O.M was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Rufio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Tiadoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Pikante FC's zone, Placido Inguma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Quinto came out of the goal and Placido Inguma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omar Beila struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Victorino Oalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pikante FC. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of U.O.M:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pikante FC:s goal. The supporters of U.O.M booed when Pikante FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Bilbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorino Oalo made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Abel Tiadoro sent off a good shot on target. If Omar Beila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Tiadoro took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorino Oalo. Victorino Oalo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Pikante FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
