The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Victorino Oalo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Nesor's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. If Honorio Nesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Oalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Jon, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When U.O.M's Nunez Calvet in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pirané's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Pirané's Gustavo Rameriz got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A hard shot by Placido Inguma from long distance, 34 minutes into the match, got Pablo Llorienzo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Honorio Nesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelardo Lore hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When Pirané's Rene Jon in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U.O.M's goalie prevented a goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nunez Calvet made a kick off. U.O.M's Victorino Oalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Gar in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute of the game, Eliseo Elivareo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Bernardo Estebano fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pirané's protests and gave Bernardo Estebano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Bernardo Estebano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benicio Rufio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victorino Oalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Nesor in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, U.O.M was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Lore to maneuver through the defense. Benicio Rufio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Pablo Llorienzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benicio Rufio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorino Oalo made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Rene Jon sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, U.O.M's Placido Inguma got a free kick in the 84th minute. Placido Inguma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Pablo Llorienzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Llorienzo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benicio Rufio went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Honorio Nesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Oalo having to interfere.
