Caminiaga booed when MTA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Ongile didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Efrain Ladio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomero Fonso skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adan Eleder got free with Baldomero Fonso in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, MTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Paez came free, but Baldomero Fonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faustino Frans during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. MTA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Caminiaga the free kick. Vinicio Sancho hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvio Bento in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Oinaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Julian Oinaz managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when MTA FC's Saturnino Atarratze fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adan Eleder charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adan Eleder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, C.A. Caminiaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Eleder to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes C.A. Caminiaga got a freekick which was hit by Adan Eleder. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Bento in the 73rd minute of play forced C.A. Caminiaga's goalkeeper Julian Oinaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Saturnino Atarratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, one of C.A. Caminiaga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for C.A. Caminiaga. Saturnino Atarratze succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 86th playminute. C.A. Caminiaga's Julian Oinaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Bento in the 93rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Silvio Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot. MTA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Bento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Oinaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MTA FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
