Erubiel Izotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Vincente having to interfere. Oscar Vincente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Izotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Erubiel Izotz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Vincente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicanor Turi during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filiberto Tab in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Vincente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lino Santikurtz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Bakar in the 42nd minute of the match. Filiberto Tab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Vincente having to interfere. Erubiel Izotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Oscar Vincente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Oscar Vincente was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erubiel Izotz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 67 minute of play. In the 71st minute Erubiel Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Vincente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Filiberto Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Cachiyuyu left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tobuna.
