Marcelo Sesuldo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. Ulises Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Franco having to interfere. Jonas Abadie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bonifacio Franco having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Jonas Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Abadie in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bonifacio Franco saved Cebollitas Jr from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Paul during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ruben Paul hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ulises Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Franco having to interfere. Jonas Abadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Bonifacio Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bonifacio Franco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Abadie went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Ulises Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Franco having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Jonas Abadie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bonifacio Franco. Cebollitas Jr's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Abadie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Bonifacio Franco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Abadie's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Colon de Santa Fe's Octavio Domiku got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonas Abadie's late challenge caught a Cebollitas Jr's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Abadie helped the player get up and apologised. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Colon de Santa Fe fully deserved thier win.
