Spectators: 7032 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rogelio Gipuzkoa started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Rogelio Gipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Barrio Parque's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Gipuzkoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Maldonado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Leonel Iigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Maldonado was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Leonel Iigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Gipuzkoa in the 14th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Leonel Iigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Barrio Parque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Iigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Maldonado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogelio Gipuzkoa went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cornelio Intxixu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Bakar having to interfere. When Rafael Quilino fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paragüil's protests and gave Rafael Quilino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of C.A. Barrio Parque booed when Paragüil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Quilino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Orlando Tohias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Maldonado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emanuel Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Gipuzkoa in the 31st minute of the match. C.A. Barrio Parque's Orlando Tohias suffered a sprained foot after 32 minutes and couldn't finish the game. During the 32nd minute of the match Candido Cresconio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Candido Cresconio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of C.A. Barrio Parque booed when Paragüil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Cresconio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Iigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Rogelio Gipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Paragüil's zone, Leonel Iigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Maldonado came out of the goal and Leonel Iigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Shepherd hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Oier in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Maldonado saved Paragüil from getting behind. Rogelio Gipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Maldonado having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Leonel Iigo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Paragüil's Emanuel Maldonado. Emanuel Maldonado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Paragüil players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.A. Barrio Parque were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Cornelio Intxixu made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Beltran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Barrio Parque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paragüil the free kick. Clodoveo Beltran hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 56 minutes, Hugo Shepherd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paragüil and the C.A. Barrio Parque players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Paragüil got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Shepherd. Rogelio Gipuzkoa came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emanuel Maldonado could save by the left post. Emanuel Maldonado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Iigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Maldonado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Iigo's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Rogelio Gipuzkoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Maldonado. Paragüil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogelio Gipuzkoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Rogelio Gipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Maldonado having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Beltran in the 73rd minute of play forced Paragüil's goalkeeper Emanuel Maldonado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Maldonado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Iigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Gaston Bakar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Intxixu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Maldonado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonel Iigo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 88 minute of play. Emanuel Maldonado made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Rogelio Gipuzkoa sent off a good shot on target. Leonel Iigo struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Emanuel Maldonado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Barrio Parque. When the final whistle sounded C.A. Barrio Parque left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Paragüil.
