Maximiliano Thomas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 16 minutes into the match, Rogelio Gipuzkoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sixto Bautista. Cieneguita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogelio Gipuzkoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Leonel Iigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Erasto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gaston Bakar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sixto Bautista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Iigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Rogelio Gipuzkoa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. Barrio Parque fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 33 minutes of play, C.A. Barrio Parque's Mario Oier made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixto Bautista was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the game, Erubiel Rito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Barrio Parque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cieneguita FC the free kick. Erubiel Rito kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Cieneguita FC's Sixto Bautista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Tohias in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
