An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Bilintx in the 47th minute of play forced Salsipuedes FC's goalkeeper Godofredo Chesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Los Gugatzus were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodosio Iliana was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodosio Bilintx in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godofredo Chesus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute of the match Cirilo Malvin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Godofredo Chesus skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Eladio got free with Godofredo Chesus in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodosio Bilintx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zeledon Eladio came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Los Gugatzus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Eladio couldn't finish the play.
