With an extended leg and a bit of luck Generoso Faron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Generoso Faron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Gasteiz in the 12th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, PINOCHO's Gaston Manny nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Generoso Faron made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gaston Manny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Santo Gasteiz sped through C.A. River Plate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Generoso Faron. If Dario Di Girolamo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A. River Plate's Generoso Faron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Gasteiz in the 40th minute of play. Generoso Faron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Di Girolamo in the 41st minute of the match. If Gaston Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Faron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Manny in the 45th minute of play. Generoso Faron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amauri Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Benjamin Isias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Che in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, PINOCHO's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Lazcano came free, but Benjamin Isias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, C.A. River Plate's Gaspar Che sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamin Isias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaston Manny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Generoso Faron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Váldson Brodel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Generoso Faron, 0-5. With his leg Generoso Faron managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when PINOCHO's Santo Gasteiz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Generoso Faron made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Dario Di Girolamo sent off a good shot on target. If Santo Gasteiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Gasteiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Faron having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as PINOCHO's Váldson Brodel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Generoso Faron. That made the score 0-6 after 80 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Di Girolamo got free with Generoso Faron in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, C.A. River Plate's Gaspar Che got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute of the match, Gaston Manny tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Generoso Faron saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gaston Manny scored 0-8 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Generoso Faron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. PINOCHO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
