With a little luck, Ombú AFC's Elvio Lehior got control of the ball when Segundo Txeru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Octavio Chorche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvio Lehior read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Tomás Quintun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ombú AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Quintun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cipriano Lleir fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ombú AFC's protests and gave Cipriano Lleir a yellow card for diving instead. Cipriano Lleir hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Elvio Lehior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Sanglepp in the 24th minute of the match. Elvio Lehior was a little too slow when Alfons Sanglepp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-1. If Alfons Sanglepp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Lehior made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Octavio Chorche sent off a good shot on target. After 44 minutes Moj Zagreb NK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Camilo Lesardo who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Camilo Lesardo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Moj Zagreb NK's David Queirós did a great save. Octavio Chorche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Elvio Lehior tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfons Sanglepp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Sanglepp in the 56th minute of play forced Ombú AFC's goalkeeper Elvio Lehior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Amador Peter recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Queirós. Amador Peter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Amador Peter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Queirós having to interfere. Ombú AFC's Elvio Lehior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Sanglepp in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Sanglepp in the 81st minute of play forced Ombú AFC's goalkeeper Elvio Lehior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Ombú AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Sanglepp came free, but Elvio Lehior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moj Zagreb NK's Alfons Sanglepp got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfons Sanglepp struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Elvio Lehior didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moj Zagreb NK. Moj Zagreb NK's Alfons Sanglepp got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Moj Zagreb NK manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Ombú AFC to win.
