Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicasio Mambru in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Urtzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 5 played minutes CLUB ATLETICO RIO TERCERO got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Llorienzo. Luis Jayvier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Diegotxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, San Pedrito's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Crispo came free, but Luis Jayvier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 played minutes San Pedrito got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Nunes. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicasio Mambru to make the kick off. Nicasio Mambru took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuel Urtzi. Samuel Urtzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Samuel Urtzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Beremundo in the 61st minute of play. Severiano Chinto hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. David Bucur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Samuel Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in San Pedrito's zone, Jeremias Diegotxe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Jayvier came out of the goal and Jeremias Diegotxe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Jeremias Diegotxe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CLUB ATLETICO RIO TERCERO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After 80 minutes of play, San Pedrito's Ceferino Ranolfo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Urtzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Diegotxe got free with Luis Jayvier in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 89 minutes, Astor Beremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Pedrito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Beremundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute David Bucur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Urtzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Pedrito were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after CLUB ATLETICO RIO TERCERO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciriaco Kiliz took the corner. Teofilo Quintana thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Samuel Urtzi, a very annoying self made goal in the 96th minute which led to 3-2. San Pedrito's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
