Modesto Pitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Chinto in the 10th minute of the match. When Oscar Rozarius fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored sabuesos's protests and gave Oscar Rozarius a yellow card for diving instead. Oscar Rozarius hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Modesto Pitin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Diegotxe in the 14th minute. Modesto Pitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Llorienzo in the 15th minute of play. Modesto Pitin made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Jeremias Diegotxe sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute, Fernando Hermon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eulalio Florian struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Samuel Urtzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for sabuesos. In the 25th minute of the match, Jeremias Diegotxe got a very nice opportunity to score, but Modesto Pitin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, sabuesos's Faustino Timo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Samuel Urtzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Hermon in the 33rd minute of play. Samuel Urtzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Astrada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eulalio Florian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Hermon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Samuel Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. German Astrada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in CLUB ATLETICO RIO TERCERO's zone, Eulalio Florian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Urtzi came out of the goal and Eulalio Florian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, German Astrada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Hermon in the 47th minute of play forced CLUB ATLETICO RIO TERCERO's goalkeeper Samuel Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Modesto Pitin came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by CLUB ATLETICO RIO TERCERO's Benedicto Crispo. But to his dismay, Benedicto Crispo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 61st minute, CLUB ATLETICO RIO TERCERO's Federico Oto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Federico Oto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CLUB ATLETICO RIO TERCERO protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Federico Oto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 61st match minute, CLUB ATLETICO RIO TERCERO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Oto to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, sabuesos's Gonzalo Lehen tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, German Astrada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Samuel Urtzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baltasar Llorienzo's late challenge caught a sabuesos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltasar Llorienzo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CLUB ATLETICO RIO TERCERO getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Baltasar Llorienzo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Fernando Hermon managed to get in a good position for a shot. sabuesos's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Hermon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Urtzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the game, German Astrada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Samuel Urtzi. German Astrada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. If Fernando Hermon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. sabuesos played a much better game than CLUB ATLETICO RIO TERCERO and deserved their victory. The CLUB ATLETICO RIO TERCERO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
