Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) Hilario Theobald made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lobos's zone, Aristides Asier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Veronica came out of the goal and Aristides Asier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Lucio Frasquito fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palca's protests and gave Lucio Frasquito a yellow card for diving instead. Lucio Frasquito hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. When Hilario Theobald came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Lobos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hilario Theobald couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Lucio Frasquito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 played minutes, Lobos's Leonardo Mirande shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Slavcho Maznev came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lobos reached it. Gilbert Duszenski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Morgan Sjöberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Desiderio Veronica was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. If Leopoldo Aztore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Lobos defense, Gilbert Duszenski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Desiderio Veronica. The Lobos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desiderio Veronica should have stopped the shot. Abelardo Francis hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lobos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! 24 minutes into the match, Morgan Sjöberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Desiderio Veronica, 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, Lobos's goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Sjöberg came free, but Desiderio Veronica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Palca's Morgan Sjöberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Desiderio Veronica. Desiderio Veronica yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Desiderio Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Sjöberg in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Palca's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Theobald came free, but Slavcho Maznev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Amor in the 39th minute of play forced Palca's goalkeeper Slavcho Maznev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slavcho Maznev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Bikendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. A collision led to Palca getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Remigio Erramu hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the game, Lobos's Hilario Theobald nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Slavcho Maznev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.
Gavino Bikendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Slavcho Maznev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Amor got free with Slavcho Maznev in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Morgan Sjöberg came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Palca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morgan Sjöberg couldn't finish the play. After 58 played minutes Lobos got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Mendebal. Morgan Sjöberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Leopoldo Aztore put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Slavcho Maznev. Lobos's Leopoldo Aztore got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 68 played minutes Lobos got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Mendebal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Duszenski in the 76th minute of play forced Lobos's goalkeeper Desiderio Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Lobos got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Aztore. 84 minutes into the match, Palca's goalkeeper Slavcho Maznev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Aztore. Palca's Slavcho Maznev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Bikendi in the 88th minute of play. After some careless play in the Palca defense, Hilario Theobald kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Slavcho Maznev. The Palca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Slavcho Maznev should have stopped the shot. Desiderio Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morgan Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
