Zeledon Pere came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by El Ciclón VC's Valentin Grabiel. But to his dismay, Valentin Grabiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 34 played minutes El Ciclón VC got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Gomez. A collision led to Guardamonte AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Osvaldinho Ramos hit a great ball. Zeledon Pere was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Valentin Grabiel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valentin Grabiel really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Valentin Grabiel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zeledon Pere. That made the score 5-0 in the 43 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentin Grabiel was the one to do the kick off. If Valentin Grabiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Pere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Bibiano in the 53rd minute of the match. Zeledon Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Grabiel in the 71st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Bernabe Gomez in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Guardamonte AFC's Venancio Txurio. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El Ciclón VC fully deserved thier win.
