Fausto Jurgi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Gartzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Danaos Panayiotopoulos in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Urbano Hernando, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 16th minute Genaro Gartzen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Jurgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Celso Lapurdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Gartzen in the 22nd minute of play forced Ovara's goalkeeper Fausto Jurgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Celso Lapurdi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ovara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Higuerita AFC the free kick. Fausto Jurgi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Gartzen in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ovara's Celso Lapurdi got a free kick in the 31st minute. Genaro Gartzen struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Fausto Jurgi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Higuerita AFC. Genaro Gartzen scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Jurgi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fausto Jurgi came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Higuerita AFC's Genaro Gartzen. But to his dismay, Genaro Gartzen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Genaro Gartzen to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Danaos Panayiotopoulos made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Higuerita AFC's Urbano Hernando tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Delfino in the 64th minute of play forced Ovara's goalkeeper Fausto Jurgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lorenzo Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mohamed Jorquera's late challenge caught a Higuerita AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mohamed Jorquera helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Ovara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Jorquera to maneuver through the defense. When Amado Maureo came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Higuerita AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Maureo couldn't finish the play. Genaro Gartzen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Fausto Jurgi made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Danaos Panayiotopoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urbano Hernando was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Benicio Delfino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Genaro Gartzens short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Fausto Jurgi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Ovara getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Celso Lapurdi hit a great ball. With his leg Fausto Jurgi managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Higuerita AFC's Genaro Gartzen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Andres Quentin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fausto Jurgi. That made the score 1-4 in the 96 minute of play. Higuerita AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
