An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Johans in the 4th minute of play forced Adios MZ's goalkeeper Eleuterio Oidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Enzo Heriberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Leonel Heriberto hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Eleuterio Oidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Johans in the 27th minute of play. When Robustiano Ixona fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Adios MZ's protests and gave Robustiano Ixona a yellow card for diving instead. Robustiano Ixona hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Adios MZ's Augusto Pudes got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Ovara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Lapurdi to maneuver through the defense. Fernan Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fausto Jurgi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Eleuterio Oidor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Celso Lapurdi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 71 minute of play. In the 80th minute Danaos Panayiotopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Oidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Celso Lapurdi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eleuterio Oidor. That made the score 1-7 in the 89 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Danaos Panayiotopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ovara's supporters rose to their feet, but Danaos Panayiotopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Oidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
