Gavino Velasco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 13th minute, Gaspar Sabino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Higuera FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 17th minute, Agustin Teofilio made a precise shot to the right of Gaudencio Elizardo. Higuera FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Felix Baumer hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Gaudencio Elizardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Beremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agustin Teofilio to make the kick off. Higuera FC's Gaudencio Elizardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Delfino in the 54th minute of play. Paulino Delfino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gaudencio Elizardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaudencio Elizardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustin Teofilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Elizardo having to interfere. Tizona's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
