When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Diego Canor sped through BocaJuniors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Everardo Txindoki. Capillitas's Anastasio Brun got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gai Zapata got free with Ruben Ihintza in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, 赵乐朗 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BocaJuniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Capillitas's Ruben Ihintza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Capillitas from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Capillitas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulino Sotero was slow to take the kick. During this time BocaJuniors's players had a chance to rest. 45 minutes into the match, Capillitas's goalkeeper Ruben Ihintza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 赵乐朗. Sergio Oxarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Txindoki having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Canor to make the kick off. Victorio Ramond kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When 赵乐朗 came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the BocaJuniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 赵乐朗 couldn't finish the play. 赵乐朗 hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The supporters of Capillitas booed when BocaJuniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zydrunas Jakaitis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Canor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruben Ihintza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, BocaJuniors's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Canor came free, but Everardo Txindoki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Gonzo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match.
