Ruben Ihintza made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Aurelio Francho sent off a good shot on target. Ruben Ihintza came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by La Chachoneta F.C.'s Aurelio Francho. But to his dismay, Aurelio Francho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Diego Canor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristobal Pinto was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the game, Aurelio Francho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ruben Ihintza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Capillitas's Diego Canor got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Diego Canor came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Capillitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Canor couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Argenis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ruben Ihintza came out and tried to block the shot, but Anselmo Argenis slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Oxarra in the 36th minute of play forced La Chachoneta F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristobal Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes La Chachoneta F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ezequiel Perfecto who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Francho got free with Ruben Ihintza in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Capillitas's Baltasar Onofre got a free kick in the 48th minute.

Anastasio Brun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cristobal Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, La Chachoneta F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Miro to maneuver through the defense. After 61 minutes, Aurelio Francho made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Capillitas's Ruben Ihintza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, La Chachoneta F.C.'s Cristobal Pinto got control of the ball when Sergio Oxarra tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Anselmo Argenis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 74 minutes, Sergio Oxarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capillitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Oxarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergio Oxarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cristobal Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eustaquio Nataniel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ruben Ihintza. Capillitas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Brun in the 93rd minute of play forced La Chachoneta F.C.'s goalkeeper Cristobal Pinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Capillitas's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Argenis came free, but Ruben Ihintza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Anselmo Argenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Capillitas's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Capillitas may have spent more time on the ball, but La Chachoneta F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
