A collision led to Maradonianos FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Matias Egoi hit a great ball. The supporters of Maradonianos FC booed when Capitanes del Oeste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Fliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Martinez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The crowd rose to their feet as Maradonianos FC's Zeledon Martinez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carmelo Millan. That made the score 2-0 after 42 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Carmelo Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Roderigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Bonifacio Orain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jeronimo Gentza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Maradonianos FC had played much better football throughout.
