When Severino Urdaspal fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chichilo F.C.'s protests and gave Severino Urdaspal a yellow card for diving instead. Severino Urdaspal hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Ruben Guerrero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ubaldo Elija. The goal made the score 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lu Han Zhi in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvio Arce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Han Zhi in the 29th minute of play forced EQUIPO DEPORTIVO's goalkeeper Silvio Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Lu Han Zhi sped through EQUIPO DEPORTIVO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvio Arce. After a defensive mix-up in EQUIPO DEPORTIVO's zone, Lu Han Zhi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Arce came out of the goal and Lu Han Zhi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvio Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Joanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Lu Han Zhi took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvio Arce. Silvio Arce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Lu Han Zhi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chichilo F.C.'s Lu Han Zhi got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 61 minutes, Jacinto Joanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chichilo F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Joanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, EQUIPO DEPORTIVO's Silvio Arce got control of the ball when Lu Han Zhi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 63 minutes EQUIPO DEPORTIVO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lu Han Zhi who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Teofilo Serapio advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-4 in the 64th minute. Lu Han Zhi charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lu Han Zhi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Chichilo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lu Han Zhi. Ubaldo Elija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Guerrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Lu Han Zhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Arce having to interfere. Jacinto Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Silvio Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of EQUIPO DEPORTIVO booed when Chichilo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Urdaspal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lu Han Zhi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvio Arce having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Lu Han Zhi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvio Arce was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Severiano Adrio kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Lu Han Zhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Silvio Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lu Han Zhi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lu Han Zhi in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Arce saved EQUIPO DEPORTIVO from getting behind. Chichilo F.C. played a much better game than EQUIPO DEPORTIVO and deserved their victory. The EQUIPO DEPORTIVO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
