Spectators: 7130 (Terracing: 5349, Seating: 1640, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leon Guipuzkoa started the match with the kick off. When Leon Guipuzkoa came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Patagones FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Guipuzkoa couldn't finish the play. In the 8thth minute of the game Domingo Bero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olimpo's Feliberto Mel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lino Frances didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelino Etxeberri went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 12 played minutes Olimpo got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Etxeberri. Feliberto Mel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Guipuzkoa's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. A collision led to Olimpo getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Leopoldo Eusko hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Anastasio Fidencio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Olimpo's Feliberto Mel didn't even have to move. If Marcelino Etxeberri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Delmiro Loren fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patagones FC's protests and gave Delmiro Loren a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Patagones FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Loren. In the 26th minute Melquiades Barrionuevo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Frances saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Oso came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lino Frances could save by the left post. Enzo Rojelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Frances having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Delmiro Loren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marcelino Etxeberri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patagones FC's Domingo Bero got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Siro Oso's late challenge caught a Patagones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siro Oso helped the player get up and apologised. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Eliseo Suarez hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Olimpo's Feliberto Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Fidencio in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Olimpo's Enzo Rojelio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Patagones FC booed when Olimpo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Oso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Etxeberri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes Patagones FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Loren. Marcelino Etxeberri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Frances having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Olimpo's zone, Domingo Bero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Mel came out of the goal and Domingo Bero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Patagones FC booed when Olimpo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Oso didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leon Guipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Leon Guipuzkoa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Feliberto Mel, passed just outside the right post. If Domingo Bero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leon Guipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Peter during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Olimpo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! In the 87th minute Marcelino Etxeberri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Frances saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Barrionuevo in the 88th minute of play forced Patagones FC's goalkeeper Lino Frances to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Siro Oso made a precise shot to the right of Lino Frances. Patagones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Leon Guipuzkoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Feliberto Mel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patagones FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Olimpo to leave the ground with a draw.
