With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lu Han Zhi in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Eliazar saved Barrialito from getting behind. The supporters of Chichilo F.C. booed when Barrialito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Betadur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Chichilo F.C.'s Lu Han Zhi got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chichilo F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lu Han Zhi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrialito's goalkeeper Eriberto Eliazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Barrialito:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chichilo F.C.:s goal. The goalkeeper, Eriberto Eliazar, was totally fooled by Chichilo F.C.'s Lu Han Zhi, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Chichilo F.C.'s Ubaldo Elija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Valentine in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match Severino Urdaspal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Eliazar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Lu Han Zhi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chichilo F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lu Han Zhi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Eliazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
