Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fermin Gimenez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Godofredo Bermudo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fermin Gimenez came out and tried to block the shot, but Godofredo Bermudo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Evaristo Goyo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Escobar's Fran Mehulić. Fran Mehulić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Ekaitz in the 28th minute of play forced Escobar's goalkeeper Fran Mehulić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Escobar's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Bernebe came free, but Fran Mehulić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Bras hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Fran Mehulić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Bernebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 44th minute Eusebio Bernebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fran Mehulić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebio Ekaitz scored 1-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fran Mehulić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godofredo Bermudo was the one to do the kick off. Fran Mehulić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Bernebe in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Tambillo getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Evaristo Goyo hit a great ball. Albino Eladio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. 1-4 came through a penalty shot after 65 played minutes, when Tambillo:s Angelo Roldanillo calmly waited for Escobar:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. In the 68th minute, Rodolfo Bidari made a precise shot to the right of Fran Mehulić. Escobar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Fran Mehulić came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tambillo's Eusebio Ekaitz. But to his dismay, Eusebio Ekaitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Eusebio Ekaitz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fran Mehulić firmly grabbed it by the left post. With an all-out effort, Tambillo's Fran Mehulić threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dalmacio Daunte, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 88th minute Eusebio Bernebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fran Mehulić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Escobar's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Bidari came free, but Fran Mehulić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fran Mehulić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Goyo in the 93rd minute. 100 minutes into the game, Eusebio Ekaitz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fran Mehulić. Eusebio Ekaitz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. When the final whistle sounded Tambillo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Escobar.
