The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Escobar's Fran Mehulić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Micael in the 57th minute of play. If Godofredo Bermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodeo AFC made a substitution. Fran Mehulić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The Rodeo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0.
