In the 67th minute, Hilario Bernal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aldosivi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Rodeo AFC's zone, Elpidio Giraldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Cordarryl came out of the goal and Elpidio Giraldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Rodeo AFC's goalkeeper Hipolito Cordarryl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Guillen. 85 minutes into the match, Gregorio Vergaray notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Aldosivi FC's Arnoldo Manni. Arnoldo Manni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th match minute, Aldosivi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Giraldo to maneuver through the defense. In the 97thth minute of the game Elpidio Giraldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rodeo AFC's Hipolito Cordarryl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match was over Aldosivi FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rodeo AFC throughout the match.
